Crepe paper asters

But if you want to admire the beauty of this flower all year round, then make it out of corrugated paper. Today you will learn about the intricacies of making asters from multi-colored crepe paper. And in the master class there is an original idea for the presentation of flowers in a bouquet with sweets.

The work will require the following components:
  • tube of white glue;
  • scissors;
  • corrugated paper of green, yellow, pink, lilac and red hues;
  • wooden thin skewers (sticks);
  • candy;
  • scotch;
  • bright paper for gift wrapping.
First make fluffy asters with thin petals and a bright center. Take yellow crepe paper and, without opening the roll, cut it into 3 cm wide strips. Make a fringe 1.5 cm long on one of the sides.

Lightly apply it with your hands.

Then expand the workpiece along the entire length.

Cut into three equal parts and start forming the middle of the future flower. To do this, take one wooden stick and attach it to the edge of the yellow stripes. The fringe should be above the edge of the skewer.

Apply a drop of PVA glue and wrap the strip around the stick. Glue its edge with glue.

Procedure repeat 6 times. In the same way, make 7 such blanks.

Now make blanks for petals. Cut a 6 cm wide strip of lilac corrugated paper.

And glue it on top of the yellow center. Do not forget to periodically add PVA glue to keep the petals firmly in.
