Sister Surprises Her Autistic Brother With Birthday Party Featuring 100 Pugs
Andrew Vaughn, at age 14, never had a birthday party before because he didn't want to be sad and disappointed if no one showed up. His big sister, McKenna Little, wanted to change that for her younger brother, who is autistic, so she planned a surprise party featuring his favorite dogs: pugs!
McKenna , "As most of you know my brother, Andrew, is autistic. He is the most kind, loving, gentle and compassionate kid I know! He is such a blessing to me and everyone who knows him. ... I wanted to ask my friends and family if they have or know of anyone who has a pug to come to the get together I'm having. I would like to surprise him with as many pugs as possible. "
His fears were cast aside when he arrived at a local park in Sherman Oaks, California and found a crowd of well-wishersandmore than 80 pugs running around!
Andrew has been obsessed with pugs since 2009 when he met two lovable pups named Sasha and Ketchup, explaining how he loves their "smushed faces" and how they snort.
Not only was Andrew surprised at his party, but he loved it!
"He kept asking 'Is that a pug?!' to each dog because he just couldn't believe his eyes.
