This girl paints eggs in a very unusual way.
Easter holidays are around the corner. So today you can search for original ways of painting eggs. If you want to surprise guests, or to make the most original painted eggs as a gift to relatives, take a look at what this girl came up with!
She cut into pieces old silk scarves and used their colorful ornaments to dye. The whole process took no more time than the traditional methods of painting eggs, but the result is really impressive.
For the project will need:
- Hard-boiled eggs;
- pieces of silk fabric with a pattern;
- white cotton fabric;
- large pot of boiling water;
- vegetable oil;
- pieces of wire or thread
At the beginning, you need to find suitable pieces of silk. You can shred an old dress or a scarf. If there is nothing suitable in the wardrobe, you can search for a second-hand store. A defective item will do for you, so it shouldn’t be expensive. The main thing is to use 100% natural silk.One and the same piece can be used for staining several times.
Cut the fabric into pieces so large that they can wrap an egg. Then wrap each in silk and then cotton. Secure cotton with wire or thread. The second option is preferable, because then you can boil eggs in any bowl. For the wire need one that does not react with the metal.
Fill the eggs with water and add 3 tablespoons of vinegar. Bring the water to a boil, and let it cook for at least 15 minutes. Carefully remove the eggs from the hot water and let them cool. After that, unfold the fabric and grate each with vegetable oil. This will provide extra shine.
